EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION AND CHILD CARE
Our child care center serves children ages 2 through 5 years of age. Our program offers a wide variety of learning activities that encourage and enhance each child’s development in all areas. Our primary goals are:
- to provide each child with a foundation in Biblical truths.
- to insure a safe and loving environment, where each child is valued, accepted, and encouraged.
- to form partnerships with our families, so we can best meet the needs of each child.
- to implement a curriculum that fosters all areas of child development.
- to provide on-going assessments of a child’s learning and development in order to communicate the child’s progress to the family.
- for the children to enjoy an appreciation for themselves and others.
- for children to develop the ability to observe, listen, understand and verbalize.
- to further enhance each child’s curiosity and desire to learn.
- to help each child feel comfortable and confident in trying new things.
Bible time is provided daily. We believe in the importance of a child’s introduction to God and that it should be simple, positive, and add to his/her sense of security. This Philosophy is incorporated in our interactions with the children throughout the day.
