EXPANDING KIDS’ IMAGINATION WHILE CREATING THEIR OWN MASTERPIECE
In the Art Room, preschoolers are able to refine their small motor skills and eye-hand coordination. They are able to use the power of observation by creating and manipulating tools such as paint, crayons, chalk, markers, scissors, glue, clay, sponges, and stencils. Art is an all-hands-on activity that allows a child to expand his/her imagination and exercise creativity. Preschoolers are active learners, and art allows them to learn and build on the fundamentals of art through the use of shapes, colors, patterns, balance, and composition.
